Description Unit/Department

The Unit/Department Hemmestaskolan is a K-9 school with just over 630 students in grade-specific working teams. We are a school that should always be an organization where all children are everyone’s children and where all employees are taken seriously and listened to. At Hemmestaskolan, we actively work with inclusive solutions that permeate both lessons and break activities as well as the school’s surroundings. We have a well-functioning student health team with broad expertise that collaborates closely with the working teams. We are a mobile-free and safe school, while all our students have access to digital tools as part of the education. We are now looking for a licensed teacher in Visual Arts. Job Description (Responsibilities)

As a teacher in Visual Arts, you are expected to plan, teach, and evaluate the instruction in accordance with the curriculum. The position also includes mentorship. You constantly want to develop and improve your practice by systematically evaluating it. You are expected to have varied and enjoyable teaching. Collaboration with colleagues is an important part of the work to create inclusive and stimulating learning environments for our students. You will be a mentor for a class in middle school and are expected to contribute to the various common tasks of the working team.

We are looking for

A licensed teacher with qualifications to teach Visual Arts. Experience in teaching is an asset. You should have the ability to create good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. We value that you are engaged and flexible with a desire to continuously develop in your professional role. Good collaboration skills and experience working in teams are also important qualities for this position.

For this position, a valid extract from the police criminal record is required.
